Westminster and Chelsea Eating Disorders Group
A self-help group for sufferers

Are you suffering from an eating disorder?
Are you feeling isolated?
Need someone to talk to?

Problems with food develop for a variety of reasons but are usually related to the way we feel about ourselves. You may not even be sure if you have an eating disorder - but having no-one to talk to about these issues can be very isolating and frustrating. As a result, both your health and your self-esteem can suffer. Our aim is to provide a forum where you can discuss these feelings with others and begin to work towards recovery in a mutually supportive environment.

By coming to our group, we hope that you'll be able to:

  • share with others and learn from their experiences
  • explore new ways of dealing with your problems
  • discuss issues of self-esteem
  • get information on associated health issues
We meet on the 3rd wednesday of each month from 7pm-8.30pm. Meeting dates for 2008 to come soon. In the meantime please call one of the numbers below.

We meet at St Columba's Church, Pont Street, SW1. The nearest tube station is Knightsbridge, on the Piccadilly Line - but you could also walk from Sloane Square, on the District Line.
